Charles and Patricia Lesters'  collections are renowned for their unique qualities. Their style is individual and their techniques for treating the fabrics have been developed over many years of experimentation and design.

The following pages give examples of some of their designer collections - this is by no means and exhaustive demonstration of the variety of items available - merely a snapshot of what is currently available in different parts of the world.

Everything is a moveable feast - more designs will be added over time. We are very flexible in the way that we provide for customers' needs - if the colour is not quite right, or if you prefer the print of one to be incorporated into your favourite shape, then please talk to us. Many things can be created as bespoke items especially for you.
  • Evening Wear

    Designer Evening, ladies evening wearCharles and Patricia have designed unique ladies evening wear for many years and  are well known for their hallmark hand pleated and hand painted silks. Luxurious velvets later became a part of their signature collections. They create wonderful pieces out of the hand painted velvets some of which they  apply their unique printing techniques such as devore, misted and phantom prints.

    Elegant bias cut dresses created from the luxurious velvets and sumptuous silks are available for all sizes. Hand pleated silk outfits - simply decorated or heavily beaded are created in any of the vast range of colours available.

    Bespoke pieces can be made to suit the individual and the occasion.

    This particular group of clothes have something particularly unique about them. Some are made from especially individual hand painted pieces of silk. Others are created from those seredipitous moments when processes don't go quite according to plan creating something more wonderful and unique. On occasion, painting techniques develop instigating new ways of applying colour and texture but are so labour intensive that they will never become a part of the regular manufacturing process. Many of the items are one offs never to be repeated works of art that would fit well in any fabulous art gallery.

    Elegant and sophisticated maternity wear for ladies at all stages of pregnancy. Many of these pieces will still look elegant after the birth and your body has returned to its normal shape.
