ART PIECES The fabric for these pieces is hand painted as individual pictures and then turned into garments. They are therefore unique in that the art work is always original. Some are hand marbled and for other pieces the satin fabric is painted as you would a canvas and then this fabric is made into the coats or jackets.

Wild Jacket - combination of velvet devore and pleated silk. Very full bias velvet on the back and generous straight front panels, side panels and sleeves of pleated silk with a swirled pleated cuff detail and beaded bands holding the pleats together at the shoulders. This is also available from stock in black. Other colours can be made to order.

VELVET COATS AND JACKETS This section consists of new coats and jackets that are both generous and slim fitting. Many customers have requested neat fitting jackets so we have designed a group that are worn closer to the body.
Lady Anne coat - fabric: silk/viscose velvet hand pleated - colour: black Front - frog fastening closed This coat is very difficult to make, but is wonderful to wear. We only have two of these - one in a size 10-14 and one in a size 22-26. Other sizes and colours can be made to order - slowly!!

CLASSIC COLLECTION - PLEATED SILK There are some of the pleated dresses that work very well for the larger sizes and of course the jackets are fabulous for any size. the jackets vary in the quantity of fabric around - smaller plus size and neater fitting are 5 - 6 panels. The more generous sizes are great for the larger plus size as the number of panels - 7 - 9 gives lots of movement - the beads around the hem of the jackets stops the fabric from hugging the body and makes it swing elegantly.
